Users who will use Office 2010 is able to buy a starter product key from Microsoft and retail partners to upgrade to full version & Office Home Student 2010, Office Home & Business 2010, or Office Professional 2010. For customers of Office, Microsoft also offers virtualization technology, called Click To Run, which allow a user to download a trial version of Office 2010 (microsoft.com/office2010), and Office 2010 running side by side with other versions of the computer user.

In Office 2010, Microsoft has answered complaint relates to the difficulty of finding a user basic command  in the User Interface Riboon in previous Office versions. Office 2010 can also integrate features when combined with SharePoint Server 2010 or Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services.
